The experiences of the minotaur

An animal head, long-muzzled and long-eared like a horse or donkey, appears in profile at left, its single visible eye rendered as a small dark circle. From it, sweeping loose lines extend rightward and downward, describing an elongated, almost wing-like body or drapery that fills the rest of the sheet, ending in a thin vertical stem near the bottom.

Rapid, overlapping pen strokes and heavy ink spatter cover much of the paper, leaving only patches of white to suggest form. The frantic, tangled linework and blotted texture give the image a restless, agitated energy, as though the creature were caught mid-motion.
