About this work
A tan, sandy bank leads back to a quiet pond reflecting bare and golden-leaved birches, with a white domed pavilion glimpsed among trees on the far shore. Streaks of green, orange and violet foliage frame the water on both sides, while a low huddle of small buildings sits at the middle distance.
