Folded, bone-white and cream shapes stretch horizontally across the middle of the canvas, veined with thin grey lines, set against an almost total black ground. A small violet-blue wedge appears at lower right and a mottled rust-brown patch sits in the upper corner, the only warm notes in an otherwise pale and dark field.

Acrylic is built into a raised, cracked crust over the ivory ground, its pale folds catching light like paper or bone against the surrounding void. The stark contrast between the near-black background and the pallid, textured forms creates a hushed, mysterious stillness.
