About this work
A cluster of trees, a dark leaning willow, a slender white-barked birch, and a pine at left, grows at the edge of a calm pond. A low wooden fence runs along the bank, separating the water from open green pasture that stretches toward a distant tree line and small rooftops under a hazy sky.
