Kazantip

A rugged, sun-bleached rocky headland dominates the upper two-thirds of the canvas, its pale boulders and scrub bushes rising above a narrow beach path. Below, a turquoise-green sea breaks in white foam around large rocks scattered in the shallows, while a small white sailboat and a red buoy sit further out on the water near the point.

Warm ochre and grey tones model the sunlit rock face, contrasted with cool blue-green in the sea, painted in short, loaded strokes that keep the surface textured throughout. Light falls strongly from above, throwing deep shadows into the crevices of the cliff. The overall feel is bright and open, a sunny coastal impression built with confident, direct brushwork.
