About this work
Two panels on a grey wall each render a train or metro carriage's interior in muted tones — closed double doors with dark glass at left, an angled view through an open doorway at right. Below, a low plinth carries a blurred landscape strip, linked to the panels by yellow lines and captions like "5 seconds / portrait" and "55 years / fragment".
The panels are painted in a subdued, near-monochrome range of cream, grey and black with photographic precision, surfaces scuffed as if worn; the floor strip is looser, dissolving into horizontal smears of colour. The yellow annotation lines and typed labels give the installation a diagrammatic, documentary character, turning transit imagery into a study of time and memory.
