About this work
The canvas is dominated by a pale, cloud-like mass of white and grey built up across the center, with faint warm pink and ochre tones showing through in patches, evoking a mountain range glimpsed through cloud cover from a great height. The composition has no horizon line or figure, reading as a field of texture rather than a defined view.
