About this work
A white plate holding a fork tipped diagonally sits at right, catching a streak of red highlight along its rim. A tall green glass or bottle rises at center, while a dark, bulbous pot anchors the left side of the composition. Paint is built up thickly with a palette knife, leaving ridged, scraped textures across the surface.
