Artist Statement
Human society is a part of nature. In the body of any person, natural chemical, biological and other processes occur. My art works are devoted to the interaction of nature and man and their influence on each other. The role of nature in the life of society has always been important, because it is the natural basis of its existence and development. Man satisfies almost all of his needs at the expense of nature, especially the external environment. The images of nature refer to thoughts about what will happen to the environment and we are on the verge of a global environmental catastrophe. Metamorphoses of the urban space and the natural world formed the basis of the concept of creativity. These are places where wild activity once boiled, where people interacted with nature: tried to tame it, study it, make it fit for life. Soviet stops, destroyed military forts and gas stations, old amusement parks, abandoned cars and rusty ships exist in parallel reality. Created by man and representing strength and stability, today they are abandoned and nature absorbs them. I am attracted to the theme of the life of things after they cease to be what they were created for. A person often overestimates himself and his influence on the environment, feeling himself the ruler of the world. However, objects that have been ignored are being transformed beyond recognition within the next century. Situations that may exist in reality, but have no logical explanation. The beauty of nature and the destructiveness of technological disasters, happiness against the backdrop of a scorched and unsuitable landscape, the Pandora's box and UFOs, as symbols of famous prejudice, are present in the art works. Seemingly pretty externally or "beautiful" on the outside, inside - it often turns out to be dangerous and poisonous. My "forest" is a call to pay attention to issues of man and ecology, ecology and contemporary art.
Nevertheless, nature is beautiful, and these images are very attractive and carry so many incredible plastic solutions!
