About this work
The sheet is filled edge to edge with dense, repeated ink hatching that builds a jagged, cracked lattice of dark and light cells; no head, body, or horned figure is legible anywhere in the composition, only the relentless texture itself.
Built up with short, scratchy pen strokes over toned paper, the surface reads as a rough, almost geological crust, monochrome and airless; the effect is more textural exercise than narrative scene, giving an unsettled, maze-like mood rather than a clear mythic subject.
