About this work
Two white marble statues on stone pedestals stand along a park path, framed by rows of slender tree trunks. Beyond them a long two-story building with a mansard roof is visible through the leaves, and small figures stroll along the paths in the middle distance while a flowering lilac bush fills the right side of the composition.
