About this work
A steep range of rocky peaks, washed in pink and apricot light, dominates the upper half of the canvas above a curving coastal village. Terracotta-roofed houses and dark cypress trees cluster along the shoreline, while several sailboats and small rowboats sit at anchor on the blue-green bay in the foreground.
