About this work
A small village of scattered rooftops sits in a green valley between forested hillsides, backed by a range of grey-blue mountains under a heavy, rain-streaked sky. In the near foreground, tall stalks of pink fireweed and white wildflowers rise among grasses and shrubs, framing the distant view down the slope.
