About this work
A row of weathered fishing boats, dark-hulled and pale-decked, sits moored side by side along a low wooden jetty that stretches across the composition. A wooden pier structure and stacked timber appear at the right, while flat, glassy water fills the foreground and low blue-grey hills form a distant band along the horizon.
