About this work
A young man in an open dark shirt is glimpsed at half-length, framed on both sides by tall palm fronds and tropical foliage. He turns his head slightly, gazing off to one side with a faint, knowing half-smile.
Vivid greens, from acid lime to deep emerald, surround the more subdued flesh tones of the face, applied in loose, energetic strokes with occasional streaks of orange and yellow cutting through the foliage.
