Born in 1985 in Ardon, North Ossetia-Alania; painter and mosaic artist, member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

About

Born in 1985 in Ardon, North Ossetia-Alania. Since 2014 — has become the member of the Union of Artists of Russia. 2012-2015 — worked on the creation of mosaic panels for the Valaam Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery and the Church of St. John the Evangelist in the village of Cherni, Brest Region. 2012-2017 — took part in the painting with frescoes of the Church of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Novodevichy Convent in St. Petersburg. Marat Kesaev's works are held in ROSIZO and private collections across Russia, Europe and Asia.

Education

  • 2012graduated with honors from St. Petersburg State Academy of Fine Arts named after Ilya Repin under the guidance of the National Artist of the Russian Federation, active member of the Russian Academy of Arts - Professor Alexander Kirovich Bystrov. The diploma work: for the stained-glass window "Memory" was rated excellent and was marked by the Concil.

Expositions

  • 2015took part in the "Dialogue of Cultures" project in Grozny. He was awarded the medal for the development of the culture of the Chechen Republic.
  • 2020Was awarded the medal in commemoration of the "10th anniversary of the victory in the Patriotic War of the people of South Ossetia" by decree of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia-Alania.
  • 2021Was awarded the silver medal "worthy" of the Russian Academy of Arts.
