About this work
A dark, almost black upper zone gives way to a horizontal band of lighter, cracked texture running across the middle, edged by a pale vertical strip at the right. Stenciled marks - "3 P" at left and a smaller "PET N713" notation lower right - sit among scratched lines and torn, rippled surface passages.
Worked in silver pencil and mixed media over paper, the tones stay within near-black browns and warm greys, with light concentrated in the cracked central band. The heavily worked, abraded surface gives the piece a weathered, industrial feel rather than any legible subject.
