About this work
Several human hands reach and grasp from all sides of a narrow vertical panel, their fingers converging toward a central mass where disembodied eyes, gritted teeth, and a curling tongue emerge from folds resembling flesh or intestines. There is no single readable body — the limbs and features interlock into one continuous, writhing organic knot filling almost the whole sheet.
Cut in stark black and white, the print builds volume through dense parallel and curved gouge lines that model each finger, eye, and fold with woodcut's characteristic hard edges. The crowding of body parts and the unblinking stare of the eyes give the small print an unsettling, dreamlike intensity.
