About this work
A full cluster of pink and magenta blooms, resembling peonies or carnations, spreads across the canvas surrounded by dark green leaves. The flowers are gathered densely at center and lower left, with a muted grey-taupe wall behind, streaked by touches of yellow and blue light on the right side.
