About this work
A large computer screen fills the lower right of the composition, its display crowded with overlapping software windows, toolbars, color swatches, and a wireframe mesh diagram like early computer graphics. Behind it stretches a dim room: a dark curtained window with a faint cobweb-like crack, a small wall lamp on an angled arm, and a low wooden cabinet in shadow.
The interior is painted in flattened greys, blacks, and muted yellow-ochre, built up with broad, dry brushwork, while the screen itself is rendered in crisp, hard-edged blues, greys, and pale yellow that mimic pixelated software graphics.
