Eclipse

Seen from behind, a tightly packed group of bald, faceless figures — their necks marked with barcodes — gazes up at a small black disc ringed in fiery red against a dark sky. Beside them rises a tall, pale apartment building with a dense grid of black windows, while smoking towers show faintly at lower left. Some wear plain patterned garments, dots and stripes, over otherwise identical, anonymous forms.

The palette is largely black, white, and ochre, broken only by the glowing red-orange ring. Flat, graphic outlines define the heads and building facade, with barcode marks rendered in crisp, poster-like lines against softly modeled skin. The repetition of identical figures beside the ominous red circle produces an eerie, dehumanized atmosphere.
