Awareness III

Two men stand pressed together in a tight embrace, their arms crossed and interlocked around each other's backs and hands clasped low in front of them. One man's head rests down and to the side while the other looks off to the right, their bodies merging into a single dense mass with only their faces reading as clearly separate.

The figures are built almost entirely from tiny stitched dots and looping pen lines rather than solid outlines, giving the skin a granular, embroidered texture against the bare cream paper. There is almost no color beyond faint grey shading, and the tight, closed pose reads as a quiet, solemn gesture of support between the two men.
