A length of white fabric is folded and pinched into a tall peaked form at center, its draped folds fanning outward like wings, evoking the silhouette of a swan against a plain pale ground. Small red petal- or berry-like shapes and olive-green leaf shapes are scattered across the folds and the surrounding surface, the only touches of color in an otherwise white composition.

Rendered in soft pastel, the piece relies on subtle grey and blue-white shading to describe the folds' volume, with the red and green accents providing sharp, isolated notes of color. The blended, hazy handling and gentle light give the still life a delicate, quietly decorative feel.
