Moroccan sketch

Two robed, turbaned figures ride donkeys along a dirt track through an open green valley, one wearing a red headscarf and leading past a low shrub, the other following close behind. Loose, economical brushstrokes in ochre, sage and dusty pink build the middle distance, while short green dashes describe the foreground grass. Warm daylight flattens the hills into soft horizontal bands, giving the small scene an airy, open-air immediacy.
