About this work
A large blue-hulled ship is docked at the embankment on the left, its bow and cabins catching the light beside a row of tall lamp posts. A paved road curves along the river toward the hazy silhouette of St Isaac's Cathedral dome, with cars and a few pedestrians strung along the sidewalk.
