About this work
A cluster of pale yellow and white flowers rises from a striped blue-and-white vase at the center of the canvas, surrounded by a checkered blue textile or wallpaper pattern that spreads across the upper right. Below, the flat grey tabletop and its blurred reflection anchor the composition, with a single small red mark near the lower edge.
