About this work

Fine, closely spaced lines build soft tonal gradation from the lamp's deep shadow to the lightly hatched wall, with crisp geometric lattice against the cat's soft curled fur. The orderly interior and sleeping cat give the small bookplate print a settled, calm domesticity.
