About this work
A tall dried leaf, deep red at its center and pale gold at the tip, rises from a glass bottle in the middle of a cluttered table. Warm ochres, dusty pinks, and olive greens cover the surface in thick, mottled strokes, giving the whole scene a weathered, sun-warmed glow.
