About this work
A cluster of angular, overlapping facets in greens, blues, violets, yellow-greens and tan spreads upward from a narrow base like a stylized plant or open fan, set against a solid green ground. The shapes are built from straight-edged planes rather than naturalistic forms, giving the composition a faceted, crystalline structure.
