About this work
A dense bank of tall yellow daisy-like flowers and white blossoms fills the left side of the composition, growing beside a dark wooden fence and shed wall. A grassy path curves past the flowerbed toward a weathered log house with a metal roof and shuttered window, where a small figure stands near the open door.
