Biography
Artist-painter, born in 1969; currently director of the Institute of Fine and Decorative Arts at Togliatti State University, professor.
About
Artist-painter. Born in 1969. Graduated in 2001 from the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin (workshop of V.V. Sokolov). Joined the Union of Artists of Russia in 2002. Member of the board of the Togliatti branch of the Union of Artists of Russia (Head of the section of young artists) since 2005. Awarded the Silver Medal of the Union of Artists of Russia in 2016. Accepted as a member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts in 2011. Joined the Russian Geographical Society, 2022.
Participant of international, all-Russian, interregional exhibition projects. Of more than 300 exhibitions, 40 are personal. He made a number of creative trips to Germany, Norway, Tanzania, China, Egypt, Italy, Montenegro, India, Altai, Crimea, the Caucasus, the Urals, Karelia, Sakhalin, Kamchatka, the Russian North and the Golden Ring of Russia.
In his work, the artist is guided by the traditions of the Russian realistic school of painting, trying to convey in his works an emotional, personal attitude to the chosen topic.
Works are in museum, corporate, and private collections in Russia and abroad.
Currently, director of the Institute of Fine and Decorative Arts at Togliatti State University, professor.
