Bai yu

Bai Yu is a contemporary painter whose work explores themes of memory, mortality, and historical trauma through a blend of realism and symbolic abstraction. His practice combines expressive brushwork with muted palettes to evoke introspective narratives, often drawing from personal and collective histories. Active since the early 2020s, he has exhibited internationally, with notable works addressing war, nature, and the passage of time.
