About this work
Several whole tangerines, one with its stem and leaf still attached, sit on a folded striped grey-and-cream cloth alongside a peeled section and loose wedges. A length of deep red fabric is draped and bunched behind and beside the fruit, spilling over a wooden surface in the lower portion of the composition.
