About this work
A slow river curves through a wooded landscape, its surface thick with rust-orange algae and patches of open dark water reflecting the trees. Leafy banks of willows and shrubs close in from both sides, with tall grasses in the foreground and a pale strip of sky visible above the distant tree line.
