About this work
A grid of small stained-glass-like panels depicts pastoral and mythological scenes, including a shepherd with dogs, a robed figure with a staff, a ram, and zodiac emblems such as scales and a scorpion, arranged around a central image of a girl's face wrapped in a red hood. Large red-crowned birds perch at the upper corners amid dense foliage, dried grasses, and clusters of pink roses.
