About this work
Undulating hills in warm gold and dark brown fill the lower half of the canvas, each covered in small dotted, striped or spotted patches like patches of vegetation or soil. A thin grey lattice tower stands at the center, echoed by low rows of box-like grey structures on the right, while pale branching cracks spread upward through a warm, granular golden sky studded with tiny dashes.
The palette moves from deep brown and black in the foreground hills to warm gold and cream toward the horizon, built through dense stippling and fine linear texture rather than blended tone. The combination of organic, mottled terrain with rigid grey tower forms gives the scene a quiet, watchful atmosphere, as if surveying a cultivated or monitored landscape.
