1970 — Born in Addis Ababa Ethiopia

1985-1989 - studied painting and graduated at the Addis Ababa fine arts school.

1989-1990 - work as a stage designer in the National theatre of Ethiopia.

1990-1997 - Studied & graguated fromThe St. Petersburg Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin at the Russian Academy of Arts. St. Petersburg.

1998 - Member of Russian artists association.

Since 1998-to present time- Instructor of drawing &painting-associate professor at St. Petersburg state university of technology & design.

1999 - Participated in the recreation of religious mural paintings for the Temple of «Christ The Savior» in Moscow.

- Awarded Commemorial Medal of the academy by the decision of the President of the `academy of December 29, 1999.

2006 - Awarded 'DIPLOM D' HONNUEUR 2006 ' Nancy , France. –For the active participation in the 72nd International Exhibition- Fair in Nancy (France) june2-12 2006 and the contribution to the promotion of the positive image of St. Petersbrg.

2010 - Winner of the international exhibition «We are different,We are together» In comprehension of The 65 anniversary of reconstruction St. Petersburg State Academy of Arts & Industry named after A.L. Stiglitz. Awarded with diploma of 1st degree.

2015 - Elected Corosponding member of Petrovsky Akademy of sciences and arts.

2016 - Laureate in the nomination of the best work made by the technique of oil painting. Laureate of 1st degree', At the first international exhsibition-compitation among the teacers of higher educational institutions of St. Petersburg.

2018 - 'Person of the year' & Winner in the nomination «The most competent teacher'', according to the students of St. Petersburg state university of technology & designe.
